The Blitz/BlitzClan
History
Long ago, there was a battle. Gun smoke clouded the air, cannons boomed, and planes dropped bombs from the sky. Chaos reigned. But the battle was never won, not truly. Each side fought and fought until one soldier was left alive on each side. They nodded to each other, and sank to the ground, dead from blood loss and their wounds. It is said that the ghosts of those final two soldiers haunt the battlefield where The Blitz roam, striking blood lust into their hearts and turning them against each other. This feud has kept them strong, and will keep them strong, for many moons to come.
Territory
The Blitz dwell in the very battlefield mentioned above. Townspeople and apprentices sleep inside old cannons, where they can put leaves or whatever they like in there to keep warm or make it homey. Slaves sleep outside, or under their master's cannon. Kings and queens sleep in the cockpits of crashed planes, along with their governors/governesses. Meetings are held in an old building, along with most events. The doctor's and nurses sleep in adjoining homes with the nursery. Basically they sleep in the battlefield area on the outskirts of an old village. A river runs around the northern area of the town.
Brigades
At birth, everyone is chosen to be in a certain brigade. Brigades are simply titles and carry very little power with them. One may not change their brigade unless they have personally spoken to the King or Queen about it. The brigades are as followed: Water, Sun, Leaf, Moon, Lightning, Air, and Fire. Each brigade has certain qualities.
Water (1): Smooth and stealthy. They are the best swimmers of the clan and maintain water safety in the river.
Sun (2): The people of the Sun brigade are the optimists, and help their clan spiritually through harder times.
Leaf (1): Those of the Leaf brigade are connected to nature and are often considered good with herbs and are able to heal without being a doctor or nurse.
Moon (2): Those in the Moon brigade feel a special affinity for The Ancestors and can speak to them very well. They also converse with the Remaining Soldiers.
Lightning (1): Lightning members are strong and powerful- they are usually considered the best fighters and many leaders have been known to rise from that brigade.
Fire (2): Last but by no means least, Fire members are very bold and courageous. They are considered brothers with Lightning.
Every moon, the brigades hold competitions to see who is the best. Members of the winning Brigade are given bragging rights for the moon. Your brigade is your family and you feel utmost loyalty to it. If one is deemed unworthy for any of these positions, they become a slave.
Most importantly of all, the brigades are split in half like the first sides to battle. The numbers signify which side- the rivalry between the two is said to be unimaginable.
