Abduel had found these kits out at the edge of the territory and decided to bring them in. Why not? It'd improve his Clan! Sure, they were just kitten Feet right now, but one day he was certain at least one of them would raise the ranks. "Well, my kittens, we are here."

Verity peeked over the basket, her eyes shining with excitement. This was her new home!

Tekvica was the next one to peek over the basket, right after verity. Excitement was in the kitten's eyes as she looked in the camp, quickly getting out of the basket with excitement. This was going to be so exciting, having a home and all! |

Pompeii gave a reluctant huff as he watched his siblings hop out of the basket. What fools they were - leaving him for some new cat. He thought they had been close friends, and now they were just leaving on a whim! The dark tabby brooded as he peered over the side, glaring at the one who took him in as own. Oh, he wasn't stupid, he wouldn't fall for the larger cat's friendly act. He would abandon this waste of a place first chance he got. But then he looked over to his sisters; could he leave his flesh and blood? No, he couldn't.
Deciding that he was being a stubborn and antisocial kit, he groaned and heaved himself out of the neatly woven fabric that once held him in a secure web. It was his home that he always knew, but apparently now, he would have to leave it for some unpromising group. He lashed his tail before slinking forward briskly and treading behind Verity and Tekvica. Hopefully he didn't just make a huge mistake; if he did, his siblings would be the first one he would blame.
